- Practice
For some of us the season is over. Again, we thank you for your hard work and dedication this entire year. There were some heart break matches and unfortunately not everyone that tries makes it to state. With that being said, practice for this week and next will now be limited to:
a) Wrestler’s that qualified at Districts and are going to NEUSA State in Grand Island March 20-22
b) Wrestler’s that are part of our Huskerland Dual Team or going to AAU State in Kearney March 13-15
c) Are a practice partner for a wrestler that qualified for the above
Practice schedule is also changing as well. It now doesn’t matter if you’re young/old/beginner/experienced
All kids will be practicing Monday / Tuesday / Thursday from 6:30 – 8:00. Let’s put in the work before these big tournaments.
- Hotels
Regarding getting a hotel in Kearney for AAU/Huskerland or Grand Island for NEUSAW state. You need to act fast. Block information will only be sent out through email (not on facebook/website). We can’t guarantee you a room as these fill up quick.
- Registration for NEUSAW State in Grand Island
If you qualified at Districts which is:
a) For Boys: 1st-8th grade being in the top 4
b) For Boys PreK-K: All qualify
c) For Girls: All qualify
Congrats! You punched your ticket to state. If interested in going to state fill out the form below. For people in the b) and c) categories, in order for FWC to pay for your way your child would have had to win 1 of their matches.

- Shirts
Every year we get shirts made for all the wrestlers and coaches that are going to NEUSAW State. We also give the option for parents and siblings to also sport the same gear!
It’s going to happen one of two ways:
First, we created a form if you are interested in getting a shirt for our non wrestler/non coach fans out there! We don’t have an exact price but expect to pay around $20 for each shirt you want. Show your interest by filling out this form and fill out the following form for each shirt you’d like:

Second, there’s a possibility we will just have an online shop created to purchase the shirts yourself. If that happens, act fast as the shop won’t be open long and we want these shirts before we head to Grand Island.
- Gift Bags and Signs
Check your calendar and keep next Monday, March 16th open. When we drop off kids for practice we’ll all be heading to Coach Dalton’s house and making gift bags and signs for all of our state qualifiers. This is a fun activity for all the parents to do together and create some amazing things to show these kids the support they deserve.
If you plan on doing this please bring either $5 with you or supply some arts & crafts supplies to the cause.
