Lots of important information this week so please read through everything!
1. Practice This Week –
Practice will run as usual Monday (1/26) & Thursday (1/29). However, tomorrow (1/27) we have a great opportunity for the kids. Some kids will dual West Point/Bancroft after the High School Girl’s Dual team – around 6:30pm. With that being said, a coach will inform your child if they are a part of this dual tonight so it is very important everyone is at practice TONIGHT! If your child is not a part of the dual, we highly encourage them to still come on Tuesday (1/27) to support their teammates & watch. Parents, grandparents, siblings, etc. are also encouraged to come. There will be a fee to get in so bring cash for that and any concessions you may want to purchase. The Girl’s High School Dual team starts at 5:30pm. This is also great to come support as many were a part of the FWC at one point. Please come out & support them!
2. This Weekend’s Tourney –
Howells-Dodge:
Our District 5 option. They do not separate novice and open divisions & all kids are put in a 4-man bracket. Flyer attached.
Bennington:
Will be ran through FLOwrestling only. Round robin format. Each kid registered has an opportunity to go home with a 10×10 Wrestling Mat! The drawing takes place after the 7-8th grade is bracketed.

Please fill out ASAP. Ideally, we would like to see this filled out Monday as tournaments can fill up quickly.
3. Apparel Store –
TODAY (1/26) is the last day to get apparel!! Make sure you check it out if you haven’t so your child is in FWC gear from head to toe. Last chance!!

4. Raffle Books/Tickets –
As a reminder, your child is required to sell at least two books. If you haven’t yet, look for Eric Monday or Thursday when coming in through the CTE side. He’ll be hanging out in the CTE commons area. Also, now is also a good time to start turning them in, if you have them ready to go! If you need more books, he is your guy!
5. Girls 1st – 8th Grade Heartland Team Qualifier –

6. FWC Tourney Volunteers –
Our tournament is coming up!! We invite everyone to start signing up to volunteer for our tournament using the following link:
https://www.signupgenius.com/go/10C0F44A9A62BABFACE9-61717986-2026We need people for Concessions, Check Ins/Weigh Ins, and Front Gate. We may ask you to help in other departments, if needed if your session has ended. We won’t, however, ask you while your child is wrestling!
Remember, it is a requirement that you work this tournament. This tournament is what keeps our club going and allows us to keep our registration costs down and help cover the expenses of signing your kid up for tournaments.
