- Practices During Winter Break
Good news, everyone! We have been approved to have practices the next couple weeks during winter break. These practices will be:
Monday – Dec 22
Tuesday – Dec 23
Thursday – Christmas is no practice
Monday – Dec 29
Tuesday – Dec 30
Thursday – New Years is no practice
Back to normal Monday, Jan 5th
These practices will follow the normal scheduled times we’ve been running all yearl These will be optional for the most part. If you’d like to take 2 weeks off and enjoy the holidays we wish you all a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
However, these practices will turn from optional to mandatory if you plan on attending Lil Jays on Sat, Dec 27th or Wisner/Bryan on Sunday, Jan 4th. More info on Little Jays below and more info on Wisner/Bryan next week.
- 3rd Annual Little Jays Preseason Tournament
Fremont Wrestling Club has historically done a preseason tournament every year. This year this tournament will be the Little Jays Christmas Clash on Saturday, Dec 27th.
Preseason Tournaments are for our club wrestlers that have been with FWC for 3+ years only. Our regular season is set to start the following Sunday.

Remember, submissions after Monday are not guaranteed entry into these tournaments.
If you plan on attending this tournament practice this coming week is required. It’s also required if you plan on attending Bryan or Wisner the following week.
- Final Chance for Pictures
The photographer has extended the deadline to order pictures. We have until Sunday, December 21st (today) through midnight to put in our final order. If you have any questions reach out to us and we’ll help you out.
- Error on District Duals
Last week we mentioned District Duals. The wrestle offs are Wednesday, Jan 7th. We said the Regional District Duals after that would be in late July, it will actaully be in late Jan. Sorry if there was any confusion there.
