- 2026 FWC Tourney
This is it, the big tournament! Our Tournament! Here’s the main things regarding it:
a) Raffle TicketsPlease turn in ALL raffle tickets this week. If you didn’t want to sell raffle tickets, just give us cash/check for the cost of them (Minimum of 40 tickets or $40 per wrestler in the club). That is a requirement of this club. Failure to do so will prevent us from paying any club expenses for the rest of the year. Eric will be in the CTE commons Monday and Thursday from 6:30 – 7:15.
b) Sign Up Genius & Donation ItemsBy now, everyone should have already signed up to volunteer for our tournament. We’re generating a list to see who hasn’t and if we have to find you then you’re pulling landscaping duty.
Everyone should have also received a paper requesting a donation item for our concession item. These are typically cheaper, easier items you can find locally but really help us in having everything we need. If you haven’t received it yet reach out to us before we find you and put you on double landscaping duty.
c) Parent Volunteer MeetingsWe know for a lot of you this is a first. We’d like to help everyone out by just going over how our tournament is run. The areas we set up locations and in general the expectations and daily routine for working these areas. These will be Monday and Thursday from 6:45-7:00 (in between our 2 practices). Meet in the CTE Commons Area.

- Huskerland Duals
Huskerland Duals takes place between NEUSAW Districts (March 8th) and NEUSAW State @ Grand Island (March 20-22).
So, it will be March 13-15th @ Kearney. This is an AAU tournament and we invite you to look at the following page which has all the information:

On top of Huskerland Duals there is also AAU state. Most kids that do Huskerland Duals also choose to do AAU state. If you choose to, we will have coaches there, but you must sign up on your own as it’s not a tournament we offer and pay for as part of the club.
With the Huskerland Duals though we are putting together 3 teams. We invite all Fremont kids to sign up IMMEDIATELY if they are interested. We will be doing wrestle offs this week to determine who makes the team and any spots not signed up for will be filled by wrestlers from other local clubs in the district.
a) Boys 6th - 8th Grade TeamThey will wrestle Friday, March 13th. It starts at 11:00 so you’ll have to take that day off. Sign up with this form:

- Apparel
Our apparel order is in. Right now, it is all mixed up in boxes. We will start sorting today. We may have it available today 6:30 – 7:15 at CTE but be patient as we work through the orders. Thursday at 6:30 – 7:15 will be the other day and it should be more organized and ready then.
